Mission and objectives
Embrace deaf friends so that they can play an active role in many activities and create programmes that will develop their potential, interests, and talents.
Main activities with youth
Their activities are focused on campaigns in public spaces and advocacy to the government about the needs of people with disabilities. They also organise training through paid sign language classes and several educational activities such as joint outbound and collaboration with various parties, organisations, individuals and the government related to disability.
Their story
On September 29, 2013, the Bali Deaf Community was created, coinciding with World Deaf Day.
Constituency
Working with Deaf people mostly in Denpasar (all ages).
Current management
The organisation is led by Ade Wirawan. Members are young people aged 20-35 years old.
