Mission and objectives

1. Supporting children in need, poor families, and orphans through projects addressing extreme poverty in Tripoli and its suburbs.
2. Focusing on education and economic empowerment.

Main activities with youth

• Financial and logistical aid for starting small projects.
• Volunteering for educational support, such as tutoring.
• Ramadan meals, food, and clothing distribution during Eid, engaging youth volunteers.

Their story

Chabab Fihom Kheir began as a grassroots response to growing poverty in Tripoli. Driven by a commitment to humanitarian aid, it engages the community through fundraisers, educational assistance, and social support initiatives.

Constituency

Lebanese youth (16 – 30 years old) work towards engaging participants through various social media platforms and public initiatives.

They meet in public outdoor spaces such as streets and parks.

Current management

Managed by Lebanese youth from Tripoli, predominantly women (20 – 30 years old) who coordinate the initiative’s activities and outreach efforts.

Use of digital tools

Active on social media where they present humanitarian cases for assistance and donations, and showcasing their activities
