Mission and objectives

Cover the scope and specialisation of training types that are in accordance with the needs of the telematics and various industries, with priority specialisations in animation, digital content, and industrial Internet of Things (IoT) as well as application-based industry specialisations, game development and crafts; explain competency-based training programs and modules; organise competency-based training (skilling, upskilling, and re-skilling) for industrial workers with a 3 in 1 system; develop LSP competency schemes and tests; rejecte international competency certification; build and develop synergies and growing industrial entrepreneurs through the organisation of business incubators; build and develop smart training facilities; organise training for ASN Industrial Supervisors on assignment from BPSDMI.

BDI Denpasar is responsible for implementing education and training for industrial human resources. BDI also provides initial funding and industrial training in telematics and various, with priority specialisations in animation, digital content, and industrial Internet of Things (IoT) and specialisations in supporting application-based industries, game development and crafts. Their participants generally want to move into the world of industrial work.

Their story

When it was first created in 1984, BDI Denpasar was called the Industrial Training Center. In 2022, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Industry (Permenperin) No. 2 of 2022 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of the Industrial Education and Training Center, the Industrial Training Center is a technical implementing unit within the Ministry of Industry which is under and responsible to the Head of the Industrial Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMI). As a Center of Excellence for preparing Competent Industrial Human Resources in the telematics field and miscellaneous, with priority specialisations in animation, digital content, and industrial Internet of Things, and supporting specialisations in application-based industries, game development and crafts.

Constituency

The Industrial Training Center has the task of implementing education and training for industrial human resources for working-age people.
