Mission and objectives
Difalitera aims to provide disabled people access to literature, although it is also open to the general public. The organization uses alternative means to present Indonesian literature to the public through audio that can be downloaded for free. It also creates open discussion rooms for the development and appreciation of literature.
Main activities with youth
Activities included the creation of audiobooks, short stories, children’s stories, and poems. Also, open literature discussion rooms.
Their story
Difalitera was launched in May 2018 with the support of Media Cipta Ekspresi & Guyub Bocah, starting from the desire to fulfil the rights of people with disabilities for access to knowledge, especially literature.
