Mission and objectives
- Promoting environmental awareness and education in the northern region of Lebanon, particularly in the El Mina area.
- Implementing community-based environmental projects.
Main activities with youth
- Environmental education programs for children as part of a series of environmental education activities including educational workshops, scientific field trips to different natural reserves, competitions in drawing and handicrafts, in addition to participating in Tripoli Scout Rally organized by the Lebanese Scout federation with the ministry of culture and the municipality of Tripoli.
- Open drawing workshops for arts for children as part of the talent development program and cultural events.
- Volunteer campaigns with youth to help underprivileged communities.
- Organising yearly beach cleanups.
Their story
The Environment Scouts was founded in El Mina to introduce and promote environmental awareness in the northern region of Lebanon. The initiative also led to the establishment of the Environmental Care Committee in El Mina and contributed to several environmental projects aimed at improving local sustainability.

Lebanese young people (14-30 years old), living in El Mina.

The initiative is led by a team of individuals, who coordinate environmental activities and oversee project implementation within the community.
