Mission and objectives

  1. Creating frameworks for cooperation and cultural and social communication.
  2. Activating social and charitable services through aid, scholarships, and empowerment programs.
  3. Providing healthcare assistance, medicine and treatment.
  4. Organizing sports activities for children, orphans and disabled people.
  5. Formulating social activities, exhibitions, seminars and lectures to enhance cultural and charitable activities.
  6. Participation and involvement in the establishment and management of similar associations.
  7. Establishing homes to care for, shelter and educate orphans and people with special social needs.

Meal preparation and food distribution, community engagement events, and volunteer opportunities for youth.

Their story

Fakir Be Ghayrak was established to address food insecurity in Tripoli. Initially an individual initiative by a community member, the organization was registered and grew its activities. The organization provides meals, fosters community collaboration, and empowers local volunteers to engage in meaningful support activities.

Constituency

Participants (children and youths) and volunteers (17-30 years old). 

They meet young people online, in a public indoor place (café, municipality), or in a rented indoor venue (hotel, cultural centre).

Current management

Led by a board of 11 members from Tripoli (40 -50 years old) with diverse professional backgrounds.

Use of digital tools

Active on social media, sharing relevant content such as updates, behind-the-scenes insights, and interactive posts. Their website is elaborate and facilitates communication with youth.
