Their story

After the war in Syria began, many families were displaced from their homes and sought refuge in Lebanon. As a result, numerous children and youth were left without access to education due to various reasons and circumstances. HAND aimed to safeguard the future of these children and youth by providing access to education for all, ensuring comprehensive assistance, and offering multifaceted support, recognising their crucial role in shaping a successful future.

Constituency

Youth aged 18 to 30, participating as volunteers and participants.They meet young people in their own center, public outdoor spaces (such as streets or parks), or public indoor venues (such as cafés or municipality buildings).

Current management

The organization is managed by an administrative officer, a woman in her 50s, who makes decisions regarding the activities.

Use of digital tools

Active on social media (Facebook, Instagram, website) to promote their work and inform people about their projects whether to call for participation or collect donations.
