Mission and objectives

Karang Taruna is a youth social organization that offers a forum for coaching, development and empowerment to develop productive economic activities by utilizing all the potential available in the environment, both human and existing natural resources.

Activities include events for the youth, such as training, competitions, and social services.

Their story

Karang Taruna is a non-partisan forum for the development of the younger generation, focusing on awareness and a sense of social responsibility from, by and for the community, especially the younger generation in the village/sub-district area or equivalent social community, which is primarily engaged in the field of social welfare.

Constituency

Young people from sub-districts attend Karang Taruna activities.

Current management

Membership includes the leaders from each village/sub-district in the city. Members are 13-45 years old, single (not married). Members in charge of the management are between 17-35 years old.
