Mission and objectives

1. Managing and sharing knowledge, expertise, and lessons learned in the field of social security to foster collaboration and program implementation.
2. Supporting the national infrastructure for social stability and contributing to the prevention of violent extremism through informed actions and policies.

Main activities with youth

Lectures and awareness activities on societal and political issues (e.g., feminism, gender, elections, marginalised groups in society, personal status laws).

Their story

The Lebanese Network for Development and Peace was established by religious leaders and specialists from civil society to provide positive social interventions. The initiative focuses on preventing negative social phenomena and raising awareness about critical societal issues, aiming to foster greater understanding and address challenges within the community.

Constituency

Lebanese youth from all age groups.

They meet young people online, in a public indoor space (café, municipality), or a rented indoor venue (hotel, cultural centre).

Use of digital tools

Active on social media, sharing activities schedule and presenting discussions on important societal topics.
