Their story

Nadi el Mahaba was founded by individuals from the town, including Lebanese, Palestinians, Iraqis, and Syrians, to bring youth together through sports activities and promote the spirit of sportsmanship. Motivated by the belief that sports can unite individuals, foster bonds, and instill love for their country, the initiative focuses on building connections and a sense of community among youth.

Constituency

The initiative works with youth of various ages and nationalities—Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian— ranging from 14 to 25 years old.

They meet young people in a public outdoor location (for example, a street and parks).

Current management

Activities are organised by individuals of different nationalities—Lebanese, Syrians, and Palestinians—ranging in age from 30 to 50 years.

Use of digital tools

They promote their activities on Facebook, announcing the opening of club membership and the required conditions. They advertise their matches and specify the locations where they plan to hold their events.
