Mission and objectives

  1. Fostering a cultural and social atmosphere in Bar Elias through hosting cultural and social events. 
  2. Providing sports activities for children and youth, particularly volleyball and football.
  3. Hosting different kinds of events, lectures, and celebrations in their space.
  4. Providing courses in several topics like sports, health care, art, education, and hosting cultural book exhibitions.
  5. Launching collective initiatives like the Cultural Ramadan Competition, and encouraging the participation of cultural enthusiasts.
  6. Honoring the success of  people in educational institutions such as exceptional students and teachers.

Main activities with youth

  • Sports activities, especially volleyball and football.
  • Recreational activities for all residents of the town, regardless of nationality.
  • Cultural activities such as theater, cinema, music events, and science competitions. 

    Their story

    Nasser Club was founded by youth from Bar Elias with the aim of reuniting families affected by the war in Lebanon and fostering social and cultural development in the town. The club’s initial activity was to establish the first secondary school and it did so by collaborating with villagers and collecting donations from the city. 

    Constituency

    • Children’s category: All nationalities, from 7 to 18 yo
    • Youth category: All nationalities, from 18 and above 
    • Targets all residents of the town.

      The initiative organises its youth activities in its centre, in external public places (streets or parks), and internal public places (cafes or municipal facilities). 

      Current management

      The activities are organized by a group of Lebanese and Palestinian individuals aged between 30 and 40. These members of the club coordinate and make decisions under the guidance of the club president.
