Mission and objectives

Assisting patients in need of medical support and social cases in Bar Elias.

Main activities with youth

Volunteering for 14-25 years old: 

• Research and data collection about families in Bar Elias
• Charity, food distribution 
• Organizing festivals and events during holidays 

Their story

Nehna Hadkun was established to support patients by providing medication during the COVID-19 pandemic and economic crises. The initiative was motivated by a desire to assist patients and address their needs amid the challenging conditions in Lebanon. It was founded by Lebanese individuals aged 30 to 50 years old.

Constituency

The initiative works with youth from various nationalities, aged between 14 and 25 years old.They meet young people in a public outdoor location (such as a street and park).

Current management

Lebanese individuals from Bar Elias, aged between 30 and 50 years old, organise activities and oversee the provision of the association’s needs.

Use of digital tools

Active on Facebook, using the platform to share medical cases in Bar Elias to collect donations.
