Mission and objectives

Organizing scouting activities for children and youth that include a combination of educational and recreational programs

Main activities with youth

Educational (drawing, Quran memorization courses), Entertainment (games), Sports (races, swimming, football), Patriotic (organising events dedicated to Palestine) and Religious activities.

Their story

The initiative started under the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) to activate youth work in the region. It was initiated by a young Palestinian man aiming to develop Palestinian efforts in the area.

Constituency

The activities are divided  into age groups:

–  from 7 to 14 years old: participants, managed by a scout leader.

–  from 14 to 20 years old: scout leaders They meet young people  in public spaces, usually outdoors.

Current management

A group of young Palestinians of varying ages who organize scouting activities for the Palestinian community in Bar Elias.
