Putra Putri Solo (PPS)

Mission and objectives

It aims to find young people in the city of Solo with intelligence, a good personality, and good communication skills to become ambassadors of Solo and promote culture and tourism.

Main activities with youth

Activities include socialization about the Putra Puri Solo. These activities are carried out by individuals from the Putra Putri Solo Association who are invited by other organizations/events to discuss education related to self-improvement or youth topics.

Their story

Putra Putri Solo is a selection event aimed at finding young individuals from Solo who hold strongly to Javanese culture as part of their identity. However, these young people are also expected to adapt to the advancements of the modern era. The Putra Putri Solo event helps promote Solo’s domestic and international tourism. This way, Solo will become more recognized by people from all walks of life. Putra Putri Solo participants will also be more active in cultural preservation, tourism promotion, and humanitarian activities.

Constituency

Members are young people in Solo (19-24). Participants are targeted to promote the programs.
