Mission and objectives

Joli Jolan invites to live an unpretentious life by managing enough goods.

Main activities with youth

Activities include donations and barter for any goods; Bank Pangan, an activity inspired by the global Food, Not Bombs movement, distributes free food on the Joli Jolan page every Saturday.

Their story

Inspired by the Javanese term “Ijol-ijolan,” which means exchange, this simple philosophy encourages the formation of a space of solidarity through bartering and sharing free goods. Joli Jolan became a small “resistance” to consumerism.

People who need certain goods and who want to donate.

Founded by Chrisna Caris Cana and several volunteers.
