Mission and objectives
- Empowering vulnerable communities in Lebanon, with a focus on women and youth, to enable them to play a participatory role in the country’s national development process.

Main activities with youth
- Building employability and knowledge through several projects including vocational training, entrepreneurship training, basic numeracy and literacy, and digital literacy especially targeting youth that left formal education.
- Awareness and campaigning against drug and substance abuse.
- Accessing economic opportunities for women, including employability and personal development training, GBV awareness and self-defence training, placement and job opportunities creation.
Their story
Since its establishment as an official nonprofit, the Safadi Foundation has focused on fostering values such as freedom of thought, good governance, social justice, and education. In recent years, the organisation has adopted new strategies to improve governance, strengthen local communities, and enhance the impact of donor assistance. These efforts aim to reduce corruption, improve livelihoods, and promote inclusive growth, addressing systemic challenges hindering progress.
Constituency
Lebanese and Syrian youth 15-24 years old participate as volunteers and participants.
