Mission and objectives

A green garden house amid concrete housing is a learning space (founded) for practising slow, mindful, and sufficient living.

Main activities with youth

Activities include Narasa, Revisit, Paon Ijo, Pasar Baik and small gathering activities. They attract like-minded people interested in farm-to-table practices and things they enjoy or their friends like, such as photography, textiles, cooking, and more. It seems they don’t have a specific age target, but I’ve seen that most people who visit are in their 20s to 30s.

Their story

They started as vegetable distributors from their family farm in 2018. Then, they expanded to distributing from several other farms. Their home garden space was built around 2021. By 2022, they began actively organising events.

Constituency

They have a garden home together, and they take care of and manage the produce from the garden. However, based on the information I have, Kris does most of the work because Anggara works as a photographer on a daily basis. He usually takes photos for the Teman Sayur account.

Current management

The Founder is Kris, and the Co-Founder is Anggara.
