Mission and objectives

1. Providing assistance and care to individuals regardless of age, race, gender, nationality, faith, or political affiliation.
2. Offering relief during disasters and engaging in sustainable development initiatives to support deprived Lebanese citizens, Palestinian, and Syrian refugee communities.
3. Ensuring the highest international, professional, and ethical standards in all interventions and efforts.

Main activities with youth

From 18 to 25 years old: training courses, games, and activities for children.

The youth at URDA distribute food, organise activities, and coordinate other tasks such as awareness sessions, training courses, games, food distribution and awareness sessions. 

Their story

Over thirty associations and relief committees collaborated to establish an organisation under the name Union of Relief and Development Associations (URDA) after coordinating humanitarian efforts in Lebanon with the goal of assisting, caring for, and developing individuals in Lebanon, regardless of race, gender, colour, political affiliation, religion, or nationality. 

Constituency

The organisation works with youth of various nationalities, ranging from 18 to 25 years old.

The activities take place online, at their own center, or in public outdoor spaces such as streets or parks.

The initiative publishes its activities, achievements, and upcoming events on its social media platforms (facebook, Instagram, and website).
